Okay -- first -- I admit to be an unabashed fan of the Brothers Gibb. Barry looked awful.

As for the performances last night -- I think Blake may have killed himself. Neither performance was horrible -- but his version of the first song seemed to contrived -- and didn't work. The second song was just a lousy song -- and while he may have performed it okay -- I think he will be hurt by it.

I thought Doilittle did a lot. I thought she was better in the first song -- which the judges didn't love.

Melinda was bad in song, song choice, song style, and dress in the first song -- and that hurt.

Jordan was great in song choice on the first song. She nailed it -- and it is one of my favortes -- the judges loved her too.
She did not get much love in the second song -- which I do not like -- but I thought she did a workman like job on it.

If I had to bet:

Blake goes home tonight. (Which is a bit of a shame -- as he has the most overall musical talent of all of them.)

Doolittle and Jordan are safe -- and Melinda is on the bubble.

I don't know if Blake will go home tonight. I didn't like either of his performances, but I think he has more of a following than Kiki (aka Lakisha) does.

I knew it was would be Lakisha--simple demographics. Blake sucked, but you had three girls that appealed to the same group. I don't think too many people were surprised (well other than this board with you crazy bozos).

Wow, I was surprised. I can't take anymore BeBopping or whatever it is that Blake does. I hope Melinda brings it next week. Jordin will probably still win.

Oh thank God! A voice of sanity amongst the crazies. I cannot stand the beat boxing. Blake is nothing more than a washed up O-Town reject.

Superstew, I think el8 is going to ban us both. He thinks Blake is awesome, and my dissing his mad skillz is blasphemy.

I think this assures a Melinda/Jordan final. I don't see Blake making it through. If he does, however, it will be a close call on Melinda and Jordin. Melinda is the pro -- Jordin is the star.

I still think Melinda has star power. She reminds me a lot of a young Aretha Franklin. My vote is for her.

Melinda is Mrs. Shrek. Just look at her with the no-neck! JK, I do think that she is great and will give Jordin a run for the money next week.

Melinda's more talented, but I think Jordin will win.

Blake is probably the worst contestant to ever make the final 3. I did thought Katherine McBoobsbutnotalent was prettty awful, but Blake is much worse.

I did like his version of..."What's your name, Who's your daddy"...That was hot.

You can't think that Blake is worse than Nikki McKibben or Justin Guarini???

McPhee actually has a good voice. Justin Guarini was way worse than Blake. Voices may have been about equal but at least Blake has originality and is creative.

He did for a minute, but now he's just boring and annoying:)

I find him very boring..would have rather seen him go last night.

He would never do that plus he has been so wrapped up in work, I don't think he has read the board lately and I know for certain he didn't watch this weeks episodes. I'm just happy Blake is still in it - I know he won't win but whatever he is as cool as ice.
