Hi Ladies,

Wanted to reach out to all the expecting moms in the community and see
if there would be any interest in starting a Brambleton Meetup group. The intent
would be for residents of Brambleton (hopefully within walking distance even!) who share
this exciting milestone for the first time in their lives to have a friendly neighbor to share talks,
walks, concerns and some coffee (decaf of course) with!

Please let me know if this sounds like something you would be interested in.

Thanks,
Viraj

Hi Viraj,

What a great idea! I'm not eligible as I'm not currently pregnant and I've already had 2 kids. I have to just say that some of my closest friends now are people I met and really got to know while we were pregnant together. It's a bonding experience like no other.

I'm not eligible either but I have to say I agree with Amy and this is a great idea. when pregnant with my first I organized a similar meetup through the tonian for other first time expecting parents and 2.5 years later we're still meeting up for play dates, MNO, BBQs. It led to a lot of great friendships for me and my kids and I love it.

You should consider inviting husbands too because the fathers have just as much fun (so I think) hanging out for these events ...except the MNO, that's for us ladies only.

Good luck!

Great idea! I'm due in 2 weeks so I'm a little late.. but it would have been great! Are there any other mom's out there that have just delivered or are expecting very soon?

HI! This sounds like a great idea to me. I am 20 weeks pregnant with my first child and would love to meet some local women to connect with when I move to Brambleton at the end of June. Feel free to contact me via private message.

I'm also not eligible as I'm pregnant with my 3rd, due in Sept. but it would be nice to get together with other gals who are going thru the same stuff. There are two ladies on my street that are also due around the same time and it's nice to get out there and talk every once in a while.
