I drove downtown today - local roads are a mess but passable - drive slowly and cautiously, as the amount of snow on the lanes changes constantly (and some idiots are driving like it is dry pavement in August). The toll road is generally clear. I-66 is pretty good up until just before Rosslyn, where it gets very snowy/icy/slushy. The DC streets are HORRIBLE and will only get worse with the next storm.
