Just got a text message from a friend in the Belmont Country Club neighborhood, power is out over there. Wondering if there have been outages around here?

We've got power over here (near Legacy). I was actually just thinking that I am so thankful to have a roof over my head and heat. I hope that the people that aren't so lucky were able to find a place that could take them in for a few days.

I heard from a friend at the Sherriffs department that many parts of Ashburn have no power. A transformer blew in Leesburg.

I can't speak for Loudoun, but there is absolutely no reason anyone should have to go without shelter in FFX. The county has an incredible amount of shelter for folks this weekend (and throughout winter) that is well above normal shelter capacity. It's a really coordinated effort throughout the county.

Just heard from a coworker in Lovettsville - no power.

I am soooooo glad to still have power. My family in various parts of MD have been out since last night. They are starting to get very cold and restless.

I'm in Belmont Country Club. We lost power at 7:30 this morning and it just came back on at 3:00pm

Ashburn Village near Waxpool/Farmwell/IHOP was without power yesterday from about 5:30am-1:50pm. I can't tell you how grateful I was when it came back on!

The power flickered yesterday twice, once while we were outside and heard the transformer/wires going bezerk.
