Crap! Loudoun Station! Now I'll never be able to get to Giant or Home Depot without traffic. Or Chipotle. Or the pediatrician.

Oh, just wait until all those apartments are occupied. Can't imagine what that do to the Waxpool/LCP intersection.

And there's a hotel going in over by the Broadlywood sign, so Old Ryan will also cease to be a quick backroad to Ryan Park.

Now if they could just add an elementary school over there, we will easily win the award for the most unusual zoning plan in the nation....

Yep a metro that ends there with most of the population on this side of Loudoun South and west and north.

So I got it you drive thru the loudoun eastern industrial zone with hardly any residential and park at the Dulles airport so you can come back on the metro and do it in reverse after the game. smilie21.gif

Mrs. Cheeks had her horse on a farm back there some where back in the day.

WTF. What happened to the LCP/Route 7 location? What are they thinking. I guess maybe the greedway/metro stakeholders want it closer?

So much for the concept of zoning.

I've heard there is a very good chance that this is passed by the County. It will be completely funded by the franchise owners. This will be the high class A team for the Washington Nationals which is much better than the ind. Atlantic league team over at Kincaid.

I can't believe the team at Kincaid will still be able to get financing if this passes. While the location isn't ideal it will be a greater source of revenue for the county and less risky than the "shaky" Atlantic league team that has seen numerous teams go out of business and abandon stadiums.

They can design the stadium with the data center being our own "big green monster".

i'm happy with almost anything that will bring people to patronize local businesses, and baseball IS family fun entertainment. concerts can be held there, other events- bring it on!
