I saw so many people at the Lifetime Fitness Pool. Was ANYONE at the Bramblehood pool? Or was it that crowded there that the overflow went to LF?

My biggest disappointment with Brambleton has been the pools. We enjoyed the huge pool at Cascades for years and the pool in Broadlands off of Claiborne is fantastic. Will Brambleton ever get a decent size pool that will accomodate more than a handful of people??

Just a note in case any potential homebuyers are browsing. Summerfield has its own, dedicated pool that is almost never crowded!

So far, the new pool isn't that crowded either, and it is quite nice. I enjoy going.

It's heated and is located in the condo section just north of Ryan Road and west of BRR (on Beacon Crest).

It is very disappointing that Brambleton can not build a kid friendly pool, like the ones in Broadlands and South Riding, especially since the majority of residence have small children. When we moved here 7 years ago they said we would have 3 pools. Building one by condos and not sky meadows was a mistake. sad2.gif sad2.gif sad2.gif

One is definitely needed in Sky Meadows. We were told that would be next pool, but don't know what changed. And I guess with all the condo/townhomes over there they too are in need. What i do know is that three pools will not be enough for a built out Brambleton. I wish i had a pool in my backyard. sad2.gif

Yep, it's as cold as the other pool. Maybe they only use the heater to extend the season.

It's not just for the condos? This is what's getting me confused.

So what you're saying is...it's not just for the condos.

The lifeguards have told me that they keep the pool set at 82 degrees at Beacon Crest, but I certainly agree with other posters. The water is freezing.

It was broken.
