I figured I would give this a shot w/ the nice weather right around the corner to see if there is any interest.

If anybody is interested in going on long bike rides (30+ miles) on early Saturday or Sunday mornings and would like to join me & another Brambletonian, shoot me a p/m. We avg. around 15-20 mph depending on hills, take plenty of breaks and rest assured we never leave anybody behind. We do not do this to go all out smile13.gif So if you have interest, let me know and we can arrange meet up times. Great way to meet other 'tonians, build up our peloton, explore new routes out west, while also committing yourself to a great weekend workout! We would also go on shorter weekday afternoon rides just around Ashburn.

We either depart directly from Brambleton or drive out to Leesburg (or other potential routes listed on Potomac Peddler's website), and go from there. Should be comfortable riding on roads, although the vast majority of the roads have very, very light traffic.

I am definitely interested but won't be available until after the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Can I catch up with your crew in mid-May?

Bump on this- Temps are getting in the mid 40's so I'll be hitting the roads very soon. There are 3-4 of us who hook up to go riding. Looking forward to another good year for riding. A few of us turn these into brick workouts for any other triathletes out there-

Shoot me a pm if you are interested and I will add you to the email list. Should be comfortable riding on (mostly) lightly traveled roads.
