That's great to see a Brambletonian on there! That cracked me up!
Funny - the hubby has been trying to convince me that it would be a good idea to see if we could open a DD here in Brambleton - but I put an end to that discussion. Man, now I'm never going to hear the end of it. Oh well.

On a side note anyone else hear that McDonalds is going to open up coffee shops? Heard about that on the news last night.

That would be way too close for a DD -too tempting... smile13.gif

We really need to have a gas station somewhere in this vicinity and some other drive thru food place. Doesn't have to be at BTC, but someplace closer than South Riding and Ashburn Farms.

I will be all about Dunkin Donuts when it opens.. I love me some DD coffee. its tasty and cheap (at least in comparison to starbucks and caribou). I prefer their french vanilla or hazlenut flavored coffee's... mmmm.. I can taste it now.

I miss living in southern NJ where we had a dunkin donuts (open 24/7) every 2 miles.

OK my dunkin donuts wish and rant. I pray that the people who own the sterling DD do not run the one in broadlands. IF they do, I hope they find competent workers. AND, DD jelly donuts have powdered sugar, not crystalized sugar. They better get it right.

+1million on the coffee.

I don't care about the donuts. But the coffee beats all of the fancy schmancy stuff.

Both are planned in Brambleton (or were at one point in time.) I believe the idea was to put them on the far edge of the community, but it'll probably be a while before they get that far up Belmont Ridge.

What's wrong with the Exxon by the Greenway? Close enough yet far enough.

I got flamed on TOB by beergut for suggesting that we need a gas station. At least, I now have the hostage Mobil on my way home. Before, there were no gas stations between here and the office.

"You know how when you've planned a vacation to a fabulous place and you can't wait to get there and you try to hurry the journey to your destination? Well, that's how I feel about this journey. I know that the end destination is going to be wonderful and I'm eager to get there. I just need to learn how to enjoy the road there—maybe see the sights."—Maeve

I'll go that way when I need gas, but more often than not, it's not convenient enough. Remember, I am lazy.

When driving a few minutes becomes a task you have reached the pinnacle of lazy. Congratulations!
