So we have had friends stay with us for over a year now and they moved out this weekend and into their new townhouse. It is a very strange feeling I am having - like I'm happy for them and happy about it just being me and el8 again - but on the other hand I'm kinda sad to have them gone and REALLY sad that the baby is gone too - even though they are only 10-15 mins away it's still not the same. So I have been redoing the house in the last 48 hours - Anyway, it's turning out to be a good little project - starting to look real good! And we are doing it on the cheap just moving couches and stuff from one room into another - kinda cool way to redecorate w/o spending a lot of $$! Plus we are saving money by "borrowing" some of Jason's family furniture that they have in storage (our house feels empty without our friend's stuff in it) But we do need to spend some flow on a new TV, which of course Jason is thrilled about and actually I am too - it will be nice to have a dedicated TV for video games - and it will be VERY nice to have the Wii downstairs where we can actually MOVE around a lot more! So I guess what I am going through is empty nesting?!?! Whatever it is - I am getting a lot accomplished!

Seriously, sounds like fun! I love reading your posts......you're always so positive, upbeat and sunny. Great to live with that attitude!
